About me
Twayna Williams is a senior public health major from Reserve, LA. She/Her research interests include exploring HIV transmission and developing new medicines using CRISPR to create a vaccine or cure for HIV. In addition to participating in the McNair Scholars Program, Twayna is an active member of several organizations, including the Public Health Club, where she serves as president. She is also involved in Blu Troop, Curvy Girls, First Year Experience Mentors, and the Dillard University Environmental Group. Upon graduation from Dillard, Twayna plans to enroll in graduate school to study social work.
