The mission of the Silver School of Social Work at New York University is to educate professionals with a global perspective for social work practice with individuals, families, groups, and communities, and to provide leadership in the development of knowledge relevant to social work practice in complex urban environments.

The diversity and vitality of New York City, along with global learning opportunities, are core strengths of the programs. Silver provides a continuum of education, including BS, MSW, Ph.D., and DSW degrees.
