About me
The University of Delaware’s College of Engineering has grown in every dimension and we are now ranked #38 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Engineering Graduate Schools.
The majority of PhD students in the College of Engineering are offered a 100% tuition waiver and a 100% stipend through their academic department as part of the admission process. These opportunities are tied to faculty excellence driving research expenditures that have nearly doubled from $72M to $126.5M.
Our faculty earn early career awards including sixteen NSF career awards, eight additional early career awards from federal agencies, a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers and three have been elected to the ranks of the National Academy of Engineers (NAE).
